Peter has a hard time staying in nursery at church.  He cries and cries and usually one of us has to stay with him.  So Jeff and I take turns going to church and staying with Peter.
But this Sunday, Jill was in nursery and out of anyone she would be the best candidate to get Peter to work through the tears and push him a bit.  So she did and he did pretty well. He settled down and played and asked Jill to hold him a few times.  I can't tell you how amazing it was to sit through service WITH my husband.  Thank you Jill!

I went to go pick him up and he was excited to see me but he was even more excited to see his brother.
Jeff picked Lachlan up from preschool across the hall and they came in to the toddler nursery to get Peter and I.  When Peter saw Lachlan he said "Laaaachie" with a little whimper mixed with joy and relief in his tone, and threw his arms around his brother for a big hug.  Lachlan wasn't expecting it as his brother ran at him pretty quickly and hadn't received a hug like this from him before.  But once he got his arms around him they hung on to each other with Peter's little head resting on Lachlan's chest.

He just needed some love from his brother.  It was the sweetest most wonderful thing to witness.
