A Coloring Box

This was an accidental discovery.  I had a cardboard box out because kids love boxes.  I also had a lap desk, a coloring book and crayons.  Peter climbed into the box with all of the coloring materials and started coloring.  Then everyone wanted to join in the fun.  Lachlan climbed in and made room even though there really wasn't room.  I think the boxes sides were flexing a bit.  Lachlan has never sat still and colored so long.  Peter looked at me with his devious look, one eyebrow up a bit and a twinkle in his eyes.  Then he took his crayon and started coloring on the box.  I think he was waiting for me to tell him to stop and was a little shocked when I didn't.

Who knew a cardboard box would be the best place for coloring?
