The Letter i

This was another FunShine idea.  To give Lachlan a newspaper and a pen to search for the letter "I" in the headlines.  I set him up in front of the wall where the letters are posted so he could look up to remind himself of what he was looking for.  I chose to give him a highlighter to highlight the letters.  I just thought on the carpet this would make it a lot easier to mark the letters. 

Of course when he get's to the point of being able to read, I might have to pick a different paper or section of the paper with more positive headlines.  We actually just got our first Highlights magazine, this could be a fun activity for him to try with that.
