Lachlan plays T-ball!

We signed Lachlan up for Micro T-ball.  It's 6 days, Tuesday through Thursday for 2 weeks and today was the first day.  We got there early, didn't want to miss a thing, and I didn't know exactly where I was going.  I was planning on it being juts me but on our way Jeff called to say he was coming.  Good thing, because it turns out parent participation is required.  This was a little tricky while also taking care of Peter.

Lachlan loved it!  And I loved seeing him run off with other kids and his coach having a good time and spreading his wings a bit.

We played catch first, he did awesome, learning how to step and throw.

Occasionally the coach would have all the kids run off with him to the other side of the field to keep them focused.  They would "stretch", jump around, or talk about safety.

Then we batted.  They set up a row of Ts and had 2 kids at each taking turns.  They had to wear helmets in order to be allowed to pick up a bat.  Good idea!  I can't say the helmets weren't incredibly cute, because they were.

Yesterday I wrote about Lachlan entering his art in the fair, now today, T-ball.  It seems a whole world of opportunities open up when you turn 4.  He is loving every minute of it and so am I.

One hot YMCA T-ball player.
